This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Recently, I went to the San Diego Comic Con. That was an interesting experience. I could ramble on about my experience, but I'm not in the mood. Maybe I'll upload pictures or something later.
Sooo......
I sort of met Bruce Timm. He was just at some random booth in the corner of Comic Con. I spotted someone who resembled him wearing glasses and as I moved closer I could see that he was inking a headshot of Harley Quinn. Ha, it's funny how I was able to recognize him just by that....... I said hi and then I said I was a fan and then I left.
So, that was cool. He seemed like the most normal guy there.
(If you do not know, Mr. Timm is one of the lead creators of the Batman animated series and a bunch of animated DC shows and movies. He's kind of an inspiration for me.)
I was with friends, and it was funny how I would randomly spot out someone famous and no one else knew who they were (because I am an intar-web nerd).
I was with my brother and a friend waiting for some other friends to come out of a bathroom and after waiting for a while we realized that they were just 30 feet away from us at a booth. We tried to call them over but they were just hanging at the booth talking to some guy and not listening to us. No one knew who this guy was. Then I looked harder and had a revelation. I spoke aloud, "Hey, it's Chewbacca!"
Yep, It was Peter Mayhew. I was able to recognize him from pictures I saw on the internet. No one believed me, so we went over to the booth and Peter Mayhew was talking to our friends about a planned scene that Lucas wanted to shoot with Chewie in it for Revenge of Sith. Something about Chewie and Yoda hiding in the water disguised as things and then popping out and fighting droids or something, it was supposedly too expensive to shoot because wet wookies are hard to digitally render. Yeah......
Maybe I'll tell more intriguing stories of Comic Con, such as Kevin Smith's awesomeness or how crazy Joss Whedon fans are or how Zach Snyder sounds like a total idiot, but only if people actually visit my deviant art page.
